The second Italian Street Photo Festival will take place from April 26th to 28th in Rome. This year’s edition will welcome Italian photographer Franco Fontana and Magnum’s Nikos Economopoulos to lead the 3-day workshops. The photographers will each present a talk as well. As for other talks, Spanish photographer Pau Buscató will present his work and just like last year there is a female photographers panel.
An interesting new addition to the programme is the ‘Editorial talk’ about print publishing in the digital age, with David Gibson, author of ‘100 Great Street Photographs’ and a photographer himself, as well as Alex Liverani and Tavepong Pratoomwong who each published a photo book last year. I’m also looking forward to giving a talk about StreetRepeat.
On top of all that, there’s a photography competition with prizes awarded in the following categories: Street Photography Single, Street Photography Series and Single Photo by Phone. I’ll be on the jury for the Singles category. You can submit your work here.
